FRF Conditioning System
This system works on TAN reduction by ion exchange and nitrogen blanketing technologies.
Description:
Minimac FRF Conditioning System is a four stage conditioner equipment used for the application of synthetic fluids like fire resistant fluid, electro hydraulic oil, other lubricants & hydraulic fluids.
This system is helpful in reducing 3 types of contaminants from lubricating and hydraulic systems. The system is beneficial in reducing the total acid number (TAN) from higher levels to within acceptable levels, maintaining solid contaminants and water contamination in the oil within acceptable limits. The system comprises nitrogen blanketing arrangement to ensure elimination of any contamination ingress into the oil from tank header space.
The advent of this technology minimises the possibility of moisture ingress in lubrication & hydraulic system tanks and at the same time it also helps in reduction of the same if it has risen due to certain reasons. It is advised to use these machines on a regular basis 24x7 so that the moisture contamination in oil is always within acceptable limits.
Typically, the results achieved/obtained using this system are as follows:
TAN value ≤ 0.15 mgKOH/gm
Solid contaminants ≤ NAS 5
Moisture contamination < 500 ppm
All other properties well within desired limits

Description:
Lube and hydraulic systems are prone to heavy water contamination due to cross-contamination of water from heat exchangers. Water or steam chambers in case of turbines and atmospheric moisture ingress especially in humid zones of working. Minimac comes with this unique technology which is capable of removing heavy water contamination & solid contamination by a single system.
The equipment works on coalescence separation techniques due to different densities of water and oil. The system is capable of removing water contamination from more than 5% to less than 100 ppm (0.01%) in a short time. The system is equipped with micron level filters which can ensure solid contamination removal up to NAS 5 (ISO 15/12).
